Founded by two passionate friends, Viltier envisions jewelry as miniature sculpture: precise and luminous pieces, rooted in exceptional craftsmanship. By partnering with the Maillol Museum, Viltier extends its desire to forge connections between the arts. Here, jewelry becomes a language, echoing the modernity of Maillol's forms and the vision of Dina Vierny.
During Art Basel Paris week, the Viltier jewelry house took over a place that was both intimate and historic: Dina Vierny's apartment within the Maillol Museum.
A living legacy
A muse of Aristide Maillol, a visionary gallery owner, and a passionate patron of the arts, Dina Vierny dedicated her life to art, beauty, and its transmission. Alongside Maillol, she helped breathe new life and substance into modern sculpture, while forging her own unique perspective on artistic creation.
After the sculptor's death, she founded the Galerie Dina Vierny in Paris, a place of discovery and dialogue between the avant-gardes, where Maillol, Matisse, Kandinsky, Rodin, but also the young artists of her time crossed paths.
The Maillol Museum, which she created in 1995, extends this legacy. In the apartment she occupied in the heart of the museum, everything still breathes this spirit of freedom, curiosity, and dialogue.
Today, Pierre and Alexandre Lorquin perpetuate this mission through the Galerie Dina Vierny and the Musée Maillol, placing the family legacy in a contemporary dynamic.
An event at the crossroads of worlds
Through this encounter, Viltier and the Lorquin family affirm a common conviction: art, know-how and jewelry pursue the same quest for beauty, transmission and meaning.
For this exceptional exhibition, Viltier entrusted the scenography to Fanny Perrier. Together, we envisioned a dialogue between the Maison's creations and the timeless spirit of Dina Vierny's apartment. Every detail was carefully considered to honor the unique character of the space—a meeting point between art and intimacy—while simultaneously revealing the brilliance and modernity of Viltier's high jewelry.
